Since our founding in 1976, Weiss & Moy, P.C. has billed for its trademark services on a flat-fee basis so that our clients know exactly how much it will cost to protect their names and logos. While most lawyers bill for their services on a per-hour basis, Weiss & Moy, P.C. attorneys give you a binding quote for our work at the beginning, so you know exactly what you are getting into. Our flat-fee trademark billing structure allows you to budget for legal expenses in the same way that you might budget for marketing or other expenses.

While some websites advertise low rates for legal services, it is important to realize that many of these companies either do not use attorneys or do not employ experienced attorneys. While some websites offer low fees, you are often receiving little or no trained legal advice, which can damage or destroy your intellectual property rights. Our flat-fee trademark billing structure for trademark-related services is generally as follows:

• Trademark Application (Intent to Use): $825 (including the $325 filing fee for one class)
• Trademark Application (Use): $900 (including the $325 filing fee for one class)
• Trademark Search: $400 (per name searched)
• Trademark Amendment: $200-$500 (depending on complexity)
• Amendment to Allege Use: $500 (including the $100 filing fee for one class)
• Extension of Time to Use Mark: $450 (including the $150 filing fee for one class)
• Statement of Use: $500 (including the $100 filing fee for one class)
