Since our founding in 1976, Weiss & Moy, P.C. has billed for its copyright services on a flat-fee basis so that our clients know exactly how much it will cost to protect their names and logos. While most lawyers bill for their services on a per-hour basis, Weiss & Moy, P.C. attorneys give you a binding quote for our work at the beginning, so you know exactly what you are getting into. Our flat-fee copyright billing structure allows you to budget for legal expenses in the same way that you might budget for marketing or other costs.
While some websites advertise low rates for legal services, it is important to realize that many of these companies either do not use attorneys or do not employ experienced attorneys. While some websites offer low fees, you are often receiving little or no trained legal advice, which can damage or destroy your intellectual property rights. Our flat-fee copyright billing structure for copyright-related services is generally as follows:
- Copyright Registration: $500 (which includes the $45 filing fee)
- Copyright Infringement Analysis: Our hourly fees range from $195-$350, depending on the experience level of the attorney performing the services
- Copyright Litigation: Our hourly fees range from $195-$350, depending on the experience level of the attorney performing the services
